Race # 4: Seattle, WA

Round House’s next stop is Seattle, WA! The race will be held at Meadowbrook Farm on June 16, 2012. The course is going to be flat, green, and filled with obstacles.  Here is an overhead view of where the course will be laid out:

Below is the course map with all the obstacles along the way!

What’s so cool about this course? I asked our course specialist Brady Bowden, on what makes this course so unique: he said that one cool aspect was that it’s less then 3 miles away from Washington’s most popular waterfall – Snoqualmie Fall!  Make sure to check it out before or after our 5k Foam Fest!  If you haven’t already registered, click here

I’be been looking all over the site but I can’t find the answer to my question; what charities will benefit from the Seattle race?

It seems as though the date for this event keeps changing – June 16 –> June 23 –> June 30. Is it still on the 16th?

You are right it does keep changing and we are sorry about that. Due to a change in location( Lake Sammamish State Park) we also had to change the date. The date in June 30, 2012 and will not change again!

When looking to see what times the different heats start at in the registration section, it appears that regular registration for the 5k is closed… is that right? Based on what I’m seeing on the website there is only the option to register for the rugrat run.

Yes, we noticed that too! Registration is not closed, the website was having issues. The problem has been fixed.

There are 2 different prices for the seattle race. On the home page it says $40, but when you go to register, it say $45! I would rather pay $40!

It went up to $45 because 90 days before the race the price always goes up $5.00. Sorry about the confusion on the webpage. we will get that changed asap.

My family and I want to “race” but we are not runners. We would be doing it more for the foam, mud and obstacles. Will we be the only people walk/jog/run/skipping?

Yes there will be people walk/jog/run/skipping! This run is not timed and is strictly for fun! Come on out and join the fun!

My kids are 8 and 11. They are pretty good size kids. Will they look like giants on the kids run? I couldn’t find many pictures of the obstacles for the kids.

Heck no!!! They will fit right in! The average age of kids that have attended in the past, range close to 9-11 years old. The obstacles for the RugRats run are similar to our 5K Foam Fest. There just aren’t as many obstacles for the RugRats because the race is a little more than a mile. What ever the age, the race is a blast for everyone!
